I'm passionate about web design!
My formal education is in engineering. After a long career in the medical device industry, I gave that up to pursue something that allowed me to be more creative.
My skills encompass enough knowledge to be a Full Stack Web Developer, meaning I am fluent with developing the interfaces necessary to consume information, but also familiar with the behind-the-scenes processes that manage requests for information and how the user interface is stored and managed on a server.
I believe good websites don't happen by accident. Understanding my client's needs is crucial to providing the right web experience. A stong discovery process paired with purposeful design gives you the best chance of meeting your goals.

THINGS I LIKE
Scuba.
I love being in the water. The world below really is unlike anything we experience here on land. While the terrain is similar... mountains, trenches, hills, and the like, the inhabitants and environment are both surreal and serene.
Motorcycles.
As a mechanical engineer, I gravitate to precision machinery. There are few better examples than the modern sportbike. My partner Perry once posted that "...the phenomenal speed and acceleration available at my fingertips just makes me laugh out loud!"
Hiking.
Our country has such amazing natural beauty. I thrive when I'm part of it. Hiking takes you to places where the scenery makes even the best photographer humble.
Snowboarding.
Learning to snowboard, for me, was a brutal experience, amplified by the fact that I'm no longer 20 years old. It's difficult to describe the feeling and exhilaration I get from wending my way down a powdered mogul run. Getting good at snowboarding is one of my proudest accomplishments.
